Position: Security Specialist
Location: Quantico, Virginia. 8am-4pm; 4pm-12am, 12am-8am Mon-Fri and or Sat/Sun including holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute courier cards for personnel. Personnel must have existing knowledge of procedures for hand-carrying classified material and shall be responsible for providing the courier briefings.

• Prepare security sub-programs and provide associates briefings as necessary. These sub-programs include: outside employment, roommates, change in material status, foreign travel, foreign contracts, and self-reporting.

• Prepare periodic reports containing work statistics and accomplishments, as well as consolidating reports and providing the final report to the CSO.

• Assist with Facility Security System (FSS) which occur bi-annually or as otherwise required.

• Responsible for processing incoming Visit Authorization Requests (VAR) and of entering the information into the SCMU database.

• Process Limited Background Investigations (LBI) paperwork, including coordinating approvals/denials.

  Qualifications:

• TS/SCI security clearance

• Must have two years specialized experience that is related to the duties described above.

• Possess excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.

• Must be proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Word and MS Excel.

• Must be punctual and reliable.
