Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift
• Swing Shift
• Overnight Shift

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Utilize electronic tour tracking software to document patrols and complete daily assignments.
• Monitor and maintain employee and visitor access logs.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely incident reports.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies while following established procedures.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Enforce site policies and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Level III Security Guard License (Guard Card).
• Minimum 3–4 years of armed security experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Working knowledge of standard security procedures, practices, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Required Certifications

• New Mexico Firearms License
• Baton Certification/Permit
• OC Spray Certification
• Handcuff Certification

Preferred Qualification:

• Taser Certification/Permit

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Sit for prolonged periods when required.
• Climb stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders.
• Bend, kneel, twist, reach, and grasp frequently.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Run or respond quickly during emergency situations.
