New Age Protection, Inc. is seeking a skilled, professional Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to maintain a secure and safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public.

This position requires a Maryland Security Guard License.

Shifts: 

Mon/Thu/Fri: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. • Tue/Wed: 12:00 p.m. –8:00 p.m. • Sat: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.  • Sun: Closed

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, including parking areas, restrooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.

• Respond promptly to disturbances and safety concerns.

• Maintain a daily duty log and submit a monthly report.

• Check in with the Captain in Charge and the Information Desk Staff at the start of each shift.

• Report security violations (unless an emergency).

• Perform closing procedures and complete a final sweep of all areas.

Requirements 

• Active Maryland Security Guard License.

• Minimum 1 year of security experience, including 6 months working with the public.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Strong communication, alertness, and professionalism.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, walk stairs, run if required, and demonstrate basic self-defense to protect yourself or others.
